The City of Anna Maria holds the northern third of the island and is the smallest and most residential of its three municipalities. Streets are narrow and shaded, lots are largely single-family, and the commercial life of the city fits into a few blocks of Historic Pine Avenue. Buyers come here for quiet: Bean Point's dunes at the tip, the Historic City Pier on the bay side, and beaches that stay uncrowded even in season.
Mostly single-family. Restored cottages, elevated coastal-contemporary rebuilds, and a small number of Gulf-front and bayfront estates. Very few condominium buildings, and lot sizes are generally larger than elsewhere on the island.
Rental rules
Nightly rentals allowed
The only one of the island's three cities without a minimum-stay requirement, which supports strong short-stay demand for furnished homes. An association can be stricter than the city, so confirm both before counting on rental income.

Tell Justin what you want the property to do for you, and he'll narrow it to the streets that actually fit.
